1903 Smith & Wesson RARE Original Magazine Ad - "At Bay" G.W. Peters Illustration Art
These four original Smith & Wesson magazine ads are some of the the rarest of the rare ads I have had through the years. These ads are part of a set of 12  that was issued between 1900 and 1903. There were color prints available from Smith & Wesson at the time, and they can bring well over 1000.00 each if you can find one for sale.  Smith & Wesson did run some reprints of the ads up through the 1950's but none are as rare as the original 1900's ads.
The four ads I am making available from my private collection are:
"At Bay" 1903 - G.W. Peters
"The Horse Thief" - 1903 - Dan Smith
"The Attack" - 1903 - G.W. peters
"Hands Off" - 1902 - Frederic Remington
Each ad measures approximately 6 x 9 and all are in remarkably good condition for being 120 years old. "The Attack" does have some stain marks on the left from the magazine staples but that is the only flaw.
